This drawing was a personal illustration done during my first semester at Virginia Tech. I'll often create monster illustrations simply for fun.
My motivation for this concept was to solidify a design I had been playing with for a while. My process usually begins with narrowing down the elements I want to include in the final image, making sure they reinforce my idea. In this case, a serpentine creature with camelid features and solar references.
